Lake-front cottages are becoming more and more popular in many markets - with buyers choosing homes that are smaller in size, but boast high-end amenities. This year, in an effort to focus on this growing market segment , we debuted an upgraded version of our Oswego II floor plan at a housing show in Louisville, Kentucky.
This home features one bedroom, one and one half bathrooms and 1,197 square feet on the first level. The proposed upper level offers two additional rooms, an additional bathroom and 779 square feet of living space.
In order to achieve the cottage-like atmosphere we were after, we used several rustic design elements, including barnwood accents as seen in the kitchen and master bedroom photos above. The Oswego II also features distressed furniture style cabinetry, a custom entertainment center with barn doors and impressive guest and master suites.
We think this is one of our best homes yet! What do you think?
