A woman by the name of Maggie Murphy took to her WordPress blog this week to share her experience in purchasing a Ritz-Craft modular home.
In her blog post, Maggie showcases her new home throughout the construction, assembly and finish processes. While there are many reasons to choose modular home construction, Maggie goes into her reasoning in this excerpt from her blog post:
"We opted for a Ritz-Craft Modular Home. While reluctant to pursue this route at first, after touring the factory, I was impressed with their product. I won’t go into too much detail, but here are a few reasons why we purchased a Ritz-Craft Home:
1. All materials are stored in a climate controlled environment. The home (built with 2×6 construction) is also built indoors.
2. The home is usually delivered, set on its foundation and sided and shingled within 2-3 days, limiting exposure to the elements.
3. We were impressed by the shop’s efficiency and quality of materials, the windows, cabinets, fixtures, siding, etc. The combination of efficiency and the cost savings from producing more expensive products like cabinetry allows Ritz-Craft to offer competitively priced homes. I’m not sure we could have “stick built” this home for less."
Everyone at Ritz-Craft would like to thank Maggie for her kind words and for taking the time to share them. To view her complete post, which includes additional photos, click here.
