Job Summary

Ritz-Craft Corporation has an immediate need for an experienced Human Resources Director with outstanding people skills to manage our personnel.  This position will ensure that our human resources programs and initiatives are effective, efficient, and aligned to our overall business objectives. The successful candidate will primarily be based at our Pennsylvania location, but will also have responsibilities at our Jonesville, MI location.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and retention for all entities, identifying staffing needs
  • Attend job fairs, build relationships with local technical schools and colleges, create internship programs and improve community relations
  • Monitor Worker’s Compensation cases to ensure optimal case management
  • Reports to management on absenteeism/turnover
  • Advises management on employee relations issues
  • Designing and directing training programs
  • Responsible for employee engagement monitoring
  • Works with the Benefit Administrator to develop and implement exceptional compensation strategies
  • Analyze data on hiring costs, retention, training ROI, employee morale date and hiring manager performance, and report to management
  • Ensure compliance with Federal and State laws, consulting legal counsel when necessary.
  • Supporting strategic objectives, implementing HR strategies that support business objectives
  • Designing accountability mechanisms
  • Oversee overall employment needs

 

Education/Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Strong people skills
  • Budget management experience
  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulation
  • Computer literacy
